Global Talent applications we help with

The UK Global Talent visa is one of the most flexible immigration routes available. Unlike most UK work visas, it does not require sponsorship from an employer, a minimum salary threshold, or a specific job offer.

We assist professionals applying under:

  • Digital Technology
  • Academia and research
  • Arts and culture

Whether you are applying as an established leader or potential leader, we assess your profile against the requirements of the relevant Global Talent endorsing body and help you build an evidence-led endorsement application.

Global Talent endorsement support for established and emerging talent

We work with professionals whose achievements demonstrate significant recognition or potential in their field — from technology founders and senior executives to researchers, academics, artists and other recognised professionals.

Established leaders

Strong international or industry recognition and a track record of significant achievement.

Potential leaders

Emerging talent with evidence of strong potential and recognition in their field.

Prestigious prize winners

Applicants who may be able to bypass the endorsement stage if they hold an eligible prize.

Why Global Talent endorsement applications fail

Many applicants have impressive careers but still fail to secure endorsement:

The most common problem is not a lack of talent. It is a failure to demonstrate that talent in a way that satisfies the endorsement criteria.

Common refusal risks include:

  • Weak recommendation letters
  • Evidence that does not satisfy the mandatory criteria
  • Failing to demonstrate leadership or exceptional promise
  • Generic supporting documents
  • Inconsistencies across CVs, evidence and application forms
  • Applying under the wrong route or endorsement pathwayy

Our refusal-prevention matrix is designed to identify these issues before your application is submitted.

Processing times

The endorsement decision usually takes 5 to 8 weeks. Once you have a positive notification of endorsement, the visa stage is processed relatively quickly.

For overseas applicants, the visa (stage 2) processing time is usually 3 weeks. If applying from within the UK, the standard time is 8 weeks, with priority services often available for a faster decision.

Application fees and costs

The total application fee is £766. This is split into £561 for the endorsement stage and £205 for the visa application itself.

In addition to the visa fee, you must pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS), which is currently £1,035 per year for adults. Children under 18 are charged at a rate of £776 per year.
